On this week's episode of the HomeKit Insider podcast, your hosts discuss the new Ikea Matter smart hub, go hands on with the Eve Outdoor Cam, and discuss Stephen's experience with the Eve MotionBlinds

The biggest news this week was that home furnisher Ikea has introduced a new Matter-specific hub set to arrive letter this year. The new hub will coincide with the launch of Matter and will support the new standard.

We also went hands on with the new Eve Outdoor Cam including testing out easy it is to install, how good the picture quality looks, and more initial impressions. At the same time, Stephen also got his first test the recent Eve MotionBlinds in his new home.

Finally we spend some time talking about a new deck staining robot from RoboDeck that claims to have HomeKit support. This robot will regularly clean and re-stain your deck to keep it looking its best, though HomeKit support seems dubious.
