Products like this are hardly new and they do certainly have their limitations, but for the right project, they will allow you to create some interesting shots without having to outlay a lot of money.
The TELESIN Motorized Camera Dolly Slider Smart Remote Control Camera Car features a 3/8″ and 1/4-20″ screw hole and it has a claimed payload capacity of 3kg / 6.61 lb. This makes it compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sony, Panasonic mirrorless hybrids, and DSLRs, as well as most smartphones (Phone clip and gimbal need to be purchased separately), and action cameras such as the GoPro, Insta360, DJI Osmo Action, DJI Action 2. etc.
It features directional wheels that when placed on a flat surface, can be moved in any direction. This allows you to adjust the angle between the directional wheels, which allows the device to achieve 360° rotation at a constant speed.
There are five gear speed adjustments:
TELESIN claims that it can also be paired with a gimbal, although given the load capacity of 3kg, it would have to be a fairly lightweight gimbal with a small-sized camera and lens combo.
The device itself has an in-built battery that has a claimed operating time of 5 hours and TELESIN states that it takes approximately 1.5 hours to recharge.
The included wireless remote control has an operating range of up to 10 meters / 32.8′ and the battery life is 10 hours.
The TELESIN Motorized Camera Dolly Slider Smart Remote Control Camera Car is now available to pre-order for $165.99 USD.
